We love this place. We've been coming here for years, and everyone loves their pupusas and cortido. I specifically love their enselada and empanadas de platano.

Every dish we had was incredible! I strongly urge you to come with an open mind and don't expect pure Salvadoran food. This is more Mexican-Salvadorian fusion and wow its amazing. If you're going for authentic eat at your grandma's house and then don't complain when YOUR Grandma is not in their kitchen. Incredible flavors and wonderful service. Would drive 30min+ to come here. The Pupusa was absolute perfection! Get to this restaurant as fast as you can! Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 WYCB: 5/5

Get your popusas fix here!! For me I want them a little bit more crispy but I never really asked so maybe they will do it. Anyways the popusas and sauce is good! Oh and the horchata is a must for you to get. Also if you're gonna get yucca, eat it there. It's not the same if you take it to go.

WAP (Wet Ass Pupusa) https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=dM6rSnHPRUVz0nI6Ecclpw&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA My appetite talks. And, when it talks, I listen intently. Visions of El Salvador materialized in my mind. In the mood for a pupusa, Lo'roko Pupuseria & Grill became the destination of the day for lunch. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=-KhPAsL-RtmF2ETvmj14sg&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Revuelta pupusa- https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=uprX--JrKFHp2ip1e0nUoA&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA My go-to pupusa, Lo'roko's revuelta pupusa was large, filling & flavor-packed. Topped with an ample amount of curtido from the jar brought out with my order, plus a dousing of red sauce, the revuelta made me quite pleased. Sopa de chipilin- https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=KYdQN0S2-xons-7tYyT4fQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Naturally, being at a Salvadoran restaurant, soup seemed the perfect entree to dine on. Having not had chipilin (leaves of a perennial legume), before, I chose sopa de chipilin. Combined with queso blanco, fried rice, plain pupusas & choice of white or dark meat chicken, this was a substantial amount of food. The soup, itself, was a fortifying vegetable soup. I found the thick cuts of carrot, zucchini & butternut squash to be too thick, for my taste. I'm glad fried chicken accompanied the soup, as I would've felt unfulfilled without some meat. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select_video=iDB7Ky19xMZWETy3TuXflw&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Service was good. The owner came by, greeting everyone there, making customers feel at home. The wait was about 20-30 minutes, with about a 1/3 of the restaurant full. The bright side is that food is made fresh, but if you're in a hurry, it's best to call ahead, if taking out. Lo'roko Pupuseria & Grill hit the spot for the pupusa hunger pangs. Glad to have tried the sopa de chipilin, next time, I would order the sopa de pata for a meat-based soup. Prices are a tad more expensive than a local pupuseria, but the quantity & quality make up for the markup. Seeing plates of heaping piles of chicharron sent to hungry customers, makes me eager to want to come back for more of what Lo'roko Pupuseria & Grill has to offer.
